Terms & Conditions – Gowtham Stay Inn

This Terms & Conditions Agreement for Gowtham Stay Inn, Sringeri is effective as of May 17, 2024.
By confirming a reservation or staying at the property, guests agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.


Reservation Policy

  • Reservations are confirmed only after 50% advance payment of the room tariff.

  • Advance payment can be made through Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card, NEFT, or UPI to our official account.

  • Pets are not allowed on the premises.

  • Unmarried couples are not allowed.

  • Smoking inside rooms is strictly prohibited.

  • Consumption of alcohol is not allowed on the premises.

  • A confirmed booking is transferable, subject to prior intimation.


Cancellation Policy

  • Confirmed reservations may be altered or cancelled only if written intimation is received at least 5 days prior to the check-in date.

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking will attract 20% cancellation charges.

  • Bookings made within 3 days of the check-in date are non-refundable.

  • No-show policy: No refund will be provided in case of a no-show.


Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be considered only if written intimation is received at least 3 days prior to the check-in date.

  • Refunds are subject to applicable cancellation charges.

  • Bookings made within 3 days of check-in are non-refundable.

  • Refunds will be processed via Cheque or NEFT in the name of the person who made the booking and payment.

  • The refund process may take up to 15 days.


Rescheduling Policy

  • Guests may reschedule their booking to any date within 3 months from the original booking date, subject to availability.

  • Written intimation must reach us at least 3 days prior to the original check-in date.

  • If the rescheduled date falls under peak season, guests must pay the difference in tariff.

  • Room tariffs are based on seasonal pricing.


Responsible Use and Guest Conduct

  • Guests must provide valid and accurate personal information, including identification and contact details.

  • Any activity that disturbs, disrupts, or interferes with the homestay / hotel/ resort premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Guests are solely responsible for any loss, damage, or consequences arising from unauthorized or unlawful activities.

  • Threatening, abusive, defamatory, harassing, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Loud music is not permitted after 9:30 PM.

  • Any misconduct or violation of these terms may be reported to the local authorities.

  • Gowtham Stay Inn reserves the right to deny service or remove guests who fail to comply with these rules.

  • Gowtham Stay Inn shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages arising during the stay.


Check-in & Check-out Time

  • Check-in: 12:00 PM

  • Check-out: 11:00 AM


Identity Proof Requirement

Guests are required to carry and present valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in:

  • Indian Nationals: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License

  • Foreign Nationals: Passport
